Raid Loot System: Dragon Kill Points (DKP)
Raid Loot System: Dragon Kill Points (DKP)
To ensure our loot distribution is fair, transparent, and rewards the players who contribute most to our progression, we use a DKP (Dragon Kill Points) system. DKP acts as a "guild currency" that you earn by participating in raids and spend to acquire gear. This system removes the frustration of losing a major upgrade to a lucky /roll from someone who just joined, ensuring that consistency and effort are the primary drivers for gearing up.

To ensure our loot distribution is fair, transparent, and rewards the players who contribute most to our progression, we use a DKP (Dragon Kill Points) system. This system removes the frustration of losing a major upgrade to a lucky /roll from someone who just joined, ensuring that consistency and effort are the primary drivers for gearing up.
How it works:
Earning: You receive DKP for being on time, killing bosses, and staying until the end of the raid. Special bonuses may be awarded for "first kills" on new progression bosses.
Spending: When an item drops, those who want it will bid their DKP. The player with the highest bid wins the item, and that amount is deducted from their balance.
Priority: Our goal is to reward our most dedicated raiders. If you’ve been at every raid but haven't won an item in weeks, your high DKP balance naturally gives you "first dibs" on the next big drop you want.
Note: DKP is a reward for the team. By showing up and helping the guild succeed, you are guaranteed to eventually get the gear you’re after, regardless of RNG.
